         All I can tell you is that West Orange County feels strongly about their pizza, and the most loyal customers are regulars at
Winter Garden Pizza Co. The popular Italian restaurant on Plant Street in the historic downtown area received the most votes for The West Orange Times Readers Choice Award for Best Pizza in West Orange County by a large margin.
     The second most popular pizza is Carter Family Bowl & Pizzeria on Dillard Street in Winter Garden. Tied for third was Positano's on West Colonial Drive in Ocoee and the Italian Garden on West Colonial Drive in Winter Garden.
     Also receiving votes were Uno's in the Winter Garden Village at Fowlers Groves, Flippers on Sand Lake Road and New York Pizza at Stoneybrook West.
     When notified of the new of his restaurant's win, Micheal Scorsone, the owner of Winter Garden Pizza, said: "We are ecstatic, and we wouldn't be successful without all my staff and our customers."
     He said his goal is to serve fresh food at reasonable prices, especially in the current economic downturn.
