Nick Vukel's family recipe is fresh and delicious the way it is suppose to be. Nick became a chef when he was three years old and Jim Carter's dad opened his first bowling alley when he was three years old. Bringing the two families into partnership seemed like a natural thing to do.

Our Story "The Story of Goodness"

Carter Family Bowl and Franco's Pizza joined in partnership to bring "Made from Scratch Stone Baked Pizza and Fine Italian Cuisine" to 715 South Dillard Street. Nick Vukel, after a few short months, decided he liked his new location so much he sold his old Franco's store bringing chef Tony Martorina to Carter Family Bowl with him. Tony and Nick, friends for decades, make quite a team. They worked together for years in catering before settling in Central Florida. Mr. Martorina, a native of Gela, Sicily and adoptive son of Central Florida, is happy about his new surroundings. He relishes the opportunity to show his decades of experience to hungry customers. Tony has many specialties and you can try speaking to him in Italian though he says he is rusty. Happy dining!
